Historic river levels have been reached across 41 counties the Midwest, caused by rapid snow melt combined with heavy spring rain and late season snowfall. Currently, hundreds of homes are flooded and families are displaced. There are emergency declarations in Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin, and the threat of massive flooding will continue for the next two months.
Please consider a donation to the CDP 2019 Midwest Floods Recovery Fund. CDP knows that while immediate needs must be met, lives must be saved and vital functions restored, the disaster cycle does not end there. Act now so we do not miss the opportunity to support strategic medium- to long-term recovery.
